Contextual Fit
Project Objective
The focus of this project is to adapt an existing building known as the Smith House, designed by Richard Meier while still retaining its architectural integrity. To do this the systems that are contained within the original design must be understood and expanded upon rather than completely designing a new look to the house.

A football agent has just purchased the Smith house and is looking to make an extension to accommodate him and his family’s needs. Along with another master bedroom and a gym he also requested a game room/family space to entertain company and watch the game.
