TINY HOUSE
Project Objective
The focus of this project was to create a "tiny house" that for a community of disabled veterans. We were required to create site elements including roads, parking, garbage disposal, a community hall, and an outdoor space. This was a group project prototype house 1 belongs to me and proposal 2 was created by my groupmate.
Design Process
Given the limited area of only 400 square feet, it was crucial to maintain an open and spacious feel throughout the rooms. To achieve this, the active areas were positioned at the entrance facing east, with the living room and kitchen offset to facilitate connectivity while preserving their distinct identities. Site was arranged to have easy to understand circulation and gave each house a handicap space as well as a space for visitors.
